Campus security and privacy are our collective responsibility
Every university is under constant risk of cybersecurity and privacy breaches, and our best defense is our collective vigilance.
This center should be your first (and hopefully frequent) stop whenever you need to take awareness training, report a concern, or learn about our security and privacy expectations.

PHISHING
Phishing emails are getting harder to spot
As a result of the use of AI by criminals, a growing number of the phishing emails we’re seeing have much better quality English and grammar than we’ve previously seen.

Our Privacy Policy has been updated to reflect recent new privacy and data protection regulations affecting our University.

If you suspect a phishing email, please forward it to phishing@udublin.edu.
The easiest way to set up two factor authentication, or 2FA, is to log into your UDublin Account, and select two factor authentication from the left side menu.
To access our security awareness training course, simply scroll up and click on the box Take The Training.
If you think your university password has been compromised, immediately go to your UDublin account and change it to something completely different. If you haven’t already done so, make sure that you enable two factor authentication as an extra layer of defense. And don’t forget to report the incident to security@udublin.edu.
The University does not prohibit the use of personal devices for University activities, but you should always consider consulting your unit head if in any doubt or if you’re accessing confidential or restricted information.
